A region that has remained in its most natural state over time and is one of the last "virgin"; areas along the Mexican Caribbean coast, at the southern tip of the Costa Maya and just north of the border with Belize.

FISHING

The fishing areas are relatively close and are divided into flats, lagoons, white sandy beaches, and mangroves. This gives us a wide range of fishing options.

Fishing can be done both wading and from a boat, with the chance to catch Permit, Bonefish, and Tarpon, which are among the most sought-after species in saltwater fishing. You can also catch other species like Snooks, Barracudas, Jacks, Porgies, and more.


On calm days, the flats by the sea offer excellent fishing for Permit and large migratory Tarpon. Meanwhile, on windy days, the bay and lagoons provide shelter and great fishing for Permit, Baby Tarpon, and Snooks.


If your goal is to fish for Permits, this is the right destination!!!

Fishing days start at 8 AM and end at 4 PM, and after that, you can fish for Bonefish and even Permits by wading along the lodge shores or using a kayak.


The program is a full 5-day fishing experience, with 6 nights of accommodation at the lodge.



Accommodation:

Palometa Lodge offers 5 cabins, each capable of accommodating 2 anglers (two beds), with a private bathroom, air conditioning, a fan, and hot and cold water.

It also features an outdoor rod holder and a freshwater shower to rinse your gear after fishing. 

The kitchen and dining area is located on a covered deck next to the beach, and in addition, the lodge has a pool to relax after a day of fishing.
