Fishing this lake is undoubtedly a unique experience. One has the sensation of being in a space where what is real and what is unreal cannot be clearly distinguished, like in a dream. Rainbow trout fishing here is one of the most inhospitable and extreme in Argentina.

We have access to countless bays highly protected from the wind and dozens of places with different types of water, bottoms and characteristics, where it is possible to capture important pieces, with equally attractive fishing techniques.

Not only the Lake...

The fantastic Barrancoso River, the only tributary of Lake Strobel, is a beautiful course of crystal clear waters, along its length there are pools, with large pools, runs and huge trouts. An ideal river for fishing with floating lines and big dry flies.

Moro Creek is a spring creek-like stream, chaining over 12 small and medium-size lakes.

This awesome creek runs mainly during spring, and it has, little by little, won the hearts of many of anglers, becoming a favourite among early and midseason visitors. This incredible creek is very much dependent on snowfall, so flows are very much determined by that.
